A series final full of surprises

I cannot guarantee there will not be spoilers lurking below.

Reading the final book in any series is always hard. you have your expectations and hopes and you have to remind yourself constantly that the authors have a vision and a plan and you have to hope they same how collide with yours. I must admit I am one of the hold outs of team Tres, but I get where the story was always meant to go. There may not have been as much action as a few other early readers have stated, but this one actually had me shedding a tear during a moment towards the end. I thoroughly enjoyed every twist and turn and am surprised at a fee of then. There is a culmination of characters that we have seen during the previous books that have obviously all been led her from the beginning. Clever ladies. Well done. You set it up perfectly. Thank you for a conclusion I atleast as a reader and fan can live with, we don't always get those. Well done.

I received an Arc of this book and have gladly given my review of this book of my own free will.

This did not go where I thought it was going to go. Straight off the bat I felt like we took such a sharp left turn that I got whiplash from just reading about it.

Once I got over he whiplash the plot was good, but I don't think it was as good as the previous books. It almost felt like it was not part of the series at all and just happened to use the same characters. The characters introduced this time around were fine, maybe not my favourite but they weren't bad either. This book though did have a lot of returning characters from the series. Like everyone. It was great to read how everyone interreacted with one another and the banter that came from it.

All in all the series was a good read, but I do think this book was the weakest link in the series.
