I found the book handled its subjuct matter too flippently and at best was a surface level depiction of its topic, with no deeper points or insights made. I dont think Michaels POV was necessary at all. The book also made its characters into stereotyped versions of themselves with little depth and none of them were likeable

Please don’t read this - I picked it up because I thought the premise was interesting. However, the way it was executed was terrible. Michael was entirely unlikable and there was no dilemma as

it was quickly revealed as false allegations but he had cheated on his fiancée

. The way the rest of the book played out made it seem like apologist literature for men accused of assault. None of the characters felt real and I struggled to connect with the writing style.
