In her newest book C.C. gives us an Arthur retelling with some twists. Spicy, shocking, and a great start to the newest series which will be intertwined with her Wytchling chronicles series (which I also highly recommend). I give it a 4 out of 5 but just like anything else these are my opinions and just because it’s a 4 for me it may be the 5 for you. I loved the spice scenes and the dual POV, which I hope stays the format moving forward. I enjoyed getting to see the inner dialogue and the inner workings of both courts in the book. All in all a great new addition to my library! Keep an eye out for the book coming to KU and is available for preorder now on Amazon!

HAPPY RELEASE DAY CC!
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC and PR Box from the author and Haus of Fables.
Not only was the box itself amazing (fully unboxing on Insta and TikTok) but this book was so good. I FLEW through it on the back of shadow mummies wings.
This is a dual POV, shadow mummy FF Arthurian reimagining and it absolutely nails it. It is an easy book to read and the world building does not clog up the story at all. It’s smooth as all hell. The character motivations make sense and are balanced in a way that even if a character is pissing you off, you don’t feel like it’s unjust.
The romance and spice in this book was BEAUTIFUL. I loved it.
