This book offered a very interesting perspective. I liked the way time travel was handled in this book along with getting an insight as to how all the Meyarin characters became who they were. It was particularly interesting seeing how it all affected Alex, especially when she began to realise how much Avens actions had been influenced by her.

Overall 4.25/5⭐️

I LOVED the first two books in this serious, I have no issues whatever with the story plot, however I noticed that the euphemisms seemed to be excessive, and then a little mild swearing here and there. Then my husband pointed out there were things in the book I was missing because I was enjoying the story part of it so much. After some thought I decided to return the whole series.

Absolutely love the story and the writing, just disappointed in the usage of language, euphemisms and swearing.

Whilst Akarnae and Raelia were full of Stuff happening all the time, Draekora felt like an unwelcome interlude to it all. Don't get me wrong, it was really interesting to learn how Aven got to hate humans so much, but this plot was better saved for a novella rather than a book in the main series.
