if you thought the first book was a masterclass in pick-me nonsense, buckle up. this sequel takes the main character's unbearable "i'm not like other girls" energy and dials it up to a million. we get it, you wear dresses and think that makes you deep. it doesn't. it makes you exhausting.
the plot is literally nothing. it's just her obsessing over the same bland love interest while doing absolutely nothing interesting or likeable. the side characters might as well be cardboard cutouts. the "drama" is so forced and stupid it actually made me laugh out loud in frustration.
the fact that this series exists and people are giving it five stars is proof that we are in a cultural decline. it's not just bad writing, it's an insult to the reader's intelligence. this is proof of what i’ve been saying that media literacy is extinct and authors make their book excruciatingly dumb for the readers. making this cycle even worse. save your time and your sanity. this isn't a book, it's a cry for help.

might finish another time but feel like the story didn't need a book two
Definitely had darker undertones than the first but I liked how it felt more grown up like they were no longer in a lovesick high school phase
slow-paced
Soooo freaking good! And that ending, the cinema direction was just BEAUTIFUL. CHILLS.
