Started out great but soon spiralled down. Really bad second half.
So he writes the most horrific stories but does it the most magnificent ways!! The story follows two girls, Terese and Teresa who develop a friendship of sorts. Terese has a voice of an angel but has absolutely no human traits. Teresa is a normal girl, described as on the ugly side. The story is a horrific one, discussing human qualities and animal instinct. what makes a person human, what is weakness and strength. Gave me the creeps but wow what a great book!!
He always approaches classic movie monster type stories from such an interesting angle. His monsters are somehow believable and still supernatural. This was loosely his take on the werewolf but in such an atypical way
The darkest coming-of-age-story you'll ever read. It's a great book that halts a bit at certain points, although it's still very worth reading.
Ethereal little psychopaths, girl gangs, Swedish pop music, and a hell of a lot gore.
It's a pretty heady cocktail.

Excellent horror story by the author of Let The Right One In. Much creepier, as it includes the Swedish version of the TV show Idol. Not for people who think Twilight novels are dark.
Promising start, chaotic and very random second half.
