I really liked the characters in it and I loved the conversations between them - could really picture it. But it felt like one of Christie's more obvious whodunnits - maybe one too many clues.

A good mystery overall, but I felt it had the potential to be more thrilling and sinister, particularly with two murders in rapid succession. I appreciated the lightheartedness of Bundle’s character and also found Lord Caterham very amusing, but the juxtaposition between their behaviour and the seriousness of the storyline was discordant. What’s more, I do enjoy plot twists, but when they appear so close to the end, followed by a lengthy and rambling explanation, it really is a lot to take in! The Seven Dials Mystery is interesting enough, but the ending felt rushed and left something to be desired.

Spoiler Also, Bundle and Bill? Where did that spring from? She seemed to seriously dislike him all the way though

This lighthearted thriller isn't my favorite by Christie, but I love the character of Bundle and the way she helps Supt. Battle in this story. I was surprised and satisfied by the ending.
