This book absolutely did not disappoint. On par with what I've seen so far in the other books it was great. Continued with great development of the overall plots the characters development both main and side. I love that it was a bit of a time jump so we really got to see how Lazarus is ruling as king and we got to see that both with and without Quinn by his side. Just overall a good read and I am excited to read the last book especially considering how this book ended.

A great entry in this fierce series full of morally grey characters and biting dialogue, FOR KING AND CORRUPTION is a ride!

Quinn Darkova faces her largest challenge yet: keeping King Lazarus safe while his court attempts to undermine and make demands of him while a new player enters the field.

Quinn is at her most cruel here, using her power ruthlessly to prove her points, no matter the damage it does. While she gets ferocious, I still found her compelling. Lazarus, too, has a great arc as he attempts to balance his court and his heart. Side characters like Risk and Draven were also given time to shine and have a bond that I found endearing.

The plot is filled with dark, even gruesome moments. Another reminder that this series relishes its wicked characters and their actions. It ends on a huge cliffhanger and I cannot wait to see how the series ends!

First 3/4 of the book felt like a very slow buildup with nothing happening, especially compared to the test of the series. End was great.
