This book is very deliberate and reveals its world at a natural pace rather than dumping exposition.

That did mean for the first few hundred pages it took me a while to get into it as I didn’t feel fully placed in the world or the characters.

But the back 2/3rds of the book, once I was settled were brilliant. Classic Sanderson. Great characters, great arcs and interesting themes!
Made me want to go out and pick up Book 2 right away.
