Have wanted to read this for a long time and it really didn’t disappoint. It was truly chilling throughout and Arthur was an endearing protagonist. I enjoyed the reflective format and the ending stunned me even though.

It's a good book, I really liked the victorian-gothic setting,but it was a little bit cliche, I understood how it was gonna end within the first half of the book,the plot twists weren't that good,but overall it was written really well and I like the way it was narrated

I listened to the audiobook and the quality of the sound and overall performances really were excellent. A chilling old fashioned ghost story, very atmospheric and dread filled.
