I was completely terrified to the point of staring at the chapter title wondering if I could continue. I’ve never read a horror nor been scared by a book but the suspenseful atmospheric writing of this book really managed it! They asked for my review. I have told it. Enough.

This was read to me during english classes in High School and I could not remember a thing and found it completely boring at the time (I think I even fell asleep a couple of times) but I managed to see a stage production (which was fantastic) and this really urged me to finally grab a copy and read it! And I really enjoyed this book! The only reason it took me so long was because over New Year's my mom put it away and hid it!
I wasn't particularly scared by this book like so many had claimed but I thoroughly enjoyed this, there was a sense of eeriness when I read this and I pictured the woman in black so vividly! Great book!
