This is a review of the series so far. No spoilers.

My heart is breaking because I am all caught up with this series. I really, really hope that [a:Laurann Dohner|3190846|Laurann Dohner|http://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1285546473p2/3190846.jpg] releases more in this series. There has to be some sort of resolution with the humans before it ends, and they have to reveal their secret

. Also, I would really like to see Brass and Jericho get a book, but Flame and Smiley would also be nice. And maybe, one day, we can learn the fate of 927. Out of 10 books, 6 were canine, and the other 4 were feline. So there really has to be a primate next. Please! I read books 2 - 10 in 2 weeks plus 2 days. I read book one in January in 2 days, for a total of 2 weeks plus 4 days.

This is how I would rank all ten.

I cant say enough how much I loved this world and these men, and just the NSO in general. They are so amazing and I wish they were real. They are amazing people, with so much strength and heart, after everything they have been through. Its amazing and inspiring. I absolutely loved every NS I met, male and female. Except for maybe Kit, Vengeance, and Obsidian. But I guess even they had their moments.

This series is definitely leaning towards the smut category, but it doesnt sacrifice the romance, world building, action, or story. I would still recommend it only for fans of smut, because the content is heavy (without fetishes), but I would like to strongly recommend it. Its not to be missed!

I think I might read [b:Zorn Warriors|7203997|Ral's Woman (Zorn Warriors, #1)|Laurann Dohner|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1259343679s/7203997.jpg|7910279] next. Her [b:Cyborg Seduction|7838460|Burning up Flint (Cyborg Seduction, #1)|Laurann Dohner|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1268075386s/7838460.jpg|10922477] series is higher rated and longer, but cyborgs dont really appeal to me as much as alien gladiators. YUM! That has potential written all over it! :P

Joys conversation with her parents about Moon was hilarious wish they would have met.

Book ten?! I never thought i’d make it this far. After a long break i am back to this series and it was a great comeback read. There is a very comforting similarity to these books. Nothing really changes or evolves much but you always know what you are getting.

I liked Moon. He was totally wild and feral which made it quite a hot read. I liked that Joy was the only one who could reach him by using her... er... feminine charms.

Joy, i found her name a bit annoying. I think one odd species name is enough to handle without adding another. They just sounded like a hippy couple. Moon and Joy could have a health food shop named after them.

I liked that Joy was a strong woman. She stood up to Moon and didn’t cower in the corner.

Straight on to the next book!

Loved it to the "MOON" and back!! I have been a New Species fan, with Fury being the first book I ever read from Mrs.Dohner, with Slade and Wrath being my fav's, I have always liked smart ass Moon since Slade's book, but now I love Moon! I will never hear the words "come here" not think about him! Great job Laurann as always.

OK I kinda loved this book. I didn't think that I would.. The whole shrink who slept with her patient thing just didn't sit right with me. It made me feel icky. But that's not really what happened...

I love Moon. He has always been one of my favorite males. He is funny and sweet and he helps out a lot of the other New Species. I like that. I also liked Joy. Do I think she went about everything the right way? Hell no. She kind of screwed the pooch with the whole leaving and not saying goodbye thing. I 100% understand why she left. I also understand why she could not have said she was leaving to Moon directly. But helloooooo tell someone else to explain the reasons to him or write a damn letter. He wouldn't have been able to leave to find her and he wouldn't have to go through that rejection. He could have invited her back, not as his shrink. Or IDK just something different could have been done.

This book was a little different than the rest from the series because Moon had no idea who he was or who his friends were. I liked that whole aspect of the story. I liked seeing him slowly piece everything together... but only with Joy. I mean he hated her for leaving him so that sucked but it was still cool to see his mind work. And it was just different all around. No one stole his female to make an example of her and there really wasn't a whole lot of drama. I mean obviously there was some, but it just didn't feel the same to me. I may be crazy and I may be making it all up but but I don't care. It. was. different. And I liked it.

Also I want to see Harley fall in love. He was awesome. I just looked and there isn't a Harley book?? For real? Not acceptable.

One of my favorites from this series. :D
