Another romance that I flew through in a day. Right person, wrong time. Although, it was right person, right time, wrong circumstances. And, I seriously really liked it. This story is about two people who meet their senior year of college, Matt and Grace- told from both perspectives. Instantly, they hit it off and so follows their whirlwind romance until graduation. Summer comes along and distance and unbelievable circumstances separate them. That is until 15 years later- when they see each other for the first time and everything changes. I loved the characters, though I prefer Matt to Grace, and I love the vibe of the book. It's set in New York, originally during college, and their love runs deep. Matt is a gentlemen and isn't afraid to show his love fiercely. Grace is cautious yet can't help but let her guard down for him. This book also comes with a bit of a plot twist and it's one that I didn't necessarily LOVE, but one I could tolerate for the sake of the romance. I liked it way more than I anticipated I would, and I definitely recommend- especially for all my romance friends out there ;)
"The present is our own. The right-this-second, the here-and-now, this moment before the next, is ours for the taking. It's the only free gift the universe has to offer. The past doesn't belong to us anymore, and the future is just a fantasy, never guaranteed. But the present is ours to own. The only way we can realize that fantasy is if we embrace the now."

I utterly devoured this book and adored every aspect of it. A heart warming, bittersweet, raw romance that broke my heart but managed to put it back together again.
I loved the plot, the characters, the setting and the ending was so perfect for the plot. It was realistic and meaningful, not just the standard everyones happy in the end no matter what, that you get with a lot of romances and just made the overall book one of the best romances I’ve ever read.
Would highly highly recommend for anyone looking for the perfect heart warming, realistic but bittersweet romances that will really get you in your feels
