This book read like a wattpad fanfic. So many random coincidences and rushed plot points and cliches. Somehow deep relationships seemed to form between characters immediately
like why would Ash call him Dad immediately? And why did Grace have a super deep bond with the bow maker?  
I finished it so obviously I didn’t hate it that much. An easy read but just super corny

Am I missing something or was this just extremely YA? Grace was so frustratingly immature. It made me mad for my grad school self that someone would depict behavior like that from a smart, educated young person.

Have they never heard of Facebook???

Also… what 15 year old girl opens her heart immediately to a father who she presumed spent her entire life ignoring her existence?
