Meh. The pacing is weirdly fast and the dialogue is cringey. I was also told this book was "a love story with a twist" and

if the twist was supposed to be that Grace had a baby while they're apart......

I don't know how you didn't see that one coming.

I loved every freaking second of this book! Talk about hooked from the very beginning. This was such a unique love story that it's hard to wrap my head around but there were quite a few things that I loved about this book that I've rarely seen in other romance novels. For starters, both the male and female leads were extremely likeable. I found myself rooting for their love story but also for their personal goals and ambitions which I knew could lead to them ultimately not getting their happily ever after. I was pleasantly surprised how down to earth the male lead was and happy that he wasn't described as God's gift to women or finger licking good or any other out of this world adjective that's normally used to describe a man in these romance novels nowadays. There was a great mix of humor and heart and I really enjoyed the easy flowing nature of the writing in general. Such a satisfying read from beginning to end.
