Before We Were Strangers was amazing! I could not put this book down.

At first, I got Rom com vibes and then suddenly I couldn’t put the book down and loved their story. I didn’t vibe with the ending but overall I enjoyed this book

This book really needs to be considered from 2 angles… the younger Matt & Grace and the older Matt & Grace. The story of them in collage had my heart full and my head admiring how Carlino had managed to avoid too many cliche romance pitfalls that I am all too sick of reading (I’m looking at you miscommunication

it’s like the author was creating this beautiful story but mid-book realized she had just 1h to finish writing the rest. for the first half, 5 stars; for the second, maybe 3?

I absolutely adore second-chance romances! I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I particularly liked the dual point-of-views. However, I must express my disappointment with Elizabeth and Matt’s actions. He was cheating on Grace with Elizabeth while he was in South America! Wft! In the end, I believe Grace deserved a better!
