The style of writing was not for me. I also felt there was a lot missing in terms of feelings developing toward the beginning of the book.

Words can express how much I loved this book and its characters!!

I've been a fan of Ann for a while now and I'd have to say this is one of her best yet!
I fell completely in love with Caden, his men, and his family!

Now I have to say I loved Annalise! She was such a phenomenal character, so much spunk, and sass! She's the perfect little sister and best-friend to Caden. The tragedy that befalls Caden and his family is heartbreaking! - I'm not crying, your crying!!! - As I was reading about Annalise, I looked back at the wonderful cover design and just knew what was going to happen. It changed the power of the cover art for me, it became more profound and the little details like the dog tags Caden is holding broke my heart! Now be warned this part of the story is heartbreaking and I admit I was balling my eyes out but Ann writing style was so profound and caring I could feel the love she has for her characters and was right there with her and Caden as tragedy struck. I felt like I was greaving too!

I love the dynamics between Caden, Mace, and Rick. While all so different they fit perfectly together. It's sad that tragedy struck but it was the catalyst to bring these men together how they were always meant to be. I love this trio and look forward to more stories or cameos as they grow together and build a life in New Zealand!

Amazing writing from Ann and now one of my favourite MMM books!!!

Review:
This book follows Caden, a pro snowboarder who has been suspended following a positive drug test; Mason, a snowboarding referee who is good friends with Caden and was the one who had to whistleblow Caden when he found out; and Riccardo, a pilot based in Queenstown. Caden tried using THC as a last resort to calm himself and try to sleep after his declining mental health since his mum died and his dad became a shell of himself. Caden has crushed on Mace for a long time, and then he also crushed hard on Rick when he met him in Italy where Rick's family is from. Caden overhears Mace confide in their snowboarding friends Reef and Ford that he really wants Caden but doesn't know how to break the news to him that he was obligated to whisteblow for the sake of the sport, and that he was so torn up about knowing he was going to ruin his friend's and crush's heart. Caden was about to fly back to Florida for the birth of his nibling, and so he leaves behind a desperate and pleading Mace who wants to clear the air, and his other crush Rick who knows about the situation and thinks that he might not see Caden ever again. When Caden's sister dies during complication of birth, it's just Caden, little Gracie, and his even more shutdown father, and Caden is struggling with raising a newborn, trying to get adoption, and grieve his sister. When Rick and Mace, who have admitted to each other their mutual feelings for each other and Caden, find out about Caden's situation, they drop everything to go over and help him.

The throuple dynamic in this book was really well done, with clear communication about their desires for each other, reassuring that it's not that any one of them is not enough for the others, but that all 3 are a perfect fit. We see moments of Rick and Mace, Mace and Caden, and all three together, and the way that Rick and Mace come together to take care of their man, as well as dote on Gracie, was so sweet and beautiful. There are troubles with Caden choosing to stay with his father in Florida, or go live with Rick in Queenstown, and Mace is a free agent so he can stay with Caden wherever he goes, but Rick doesn't have that ability, so there is definitely a huge tension on Caden wanting to go be with his loves, but also not leaving his father to destroy himself. I enjoyed the way Caden's father grew and overcame his suffocating feelings, the ways in which all three loved each other, how Mace was an absolute goner for Gracie, and how they all worked in subunits and together as a throuple. This book was short and sweet, with a whole lot of hurt, but beautiful comfort too.

This is a highly enjoyable mmm romance. We read mostly from Caden's POV, especially in the beginning, but also from Mason and Riccardo which I think helps to give the reader more understanding into the characters and how they all feel in regards to each other and the story line that they're involved with.
Ann thoroughly packs a punch to the emotions so be sure to have some tissues ready. It's so very well written that you can't help but be pulled into Caden's world as he's experiencing such highs and lows. When Mason and Ricky offer support to him when he needs it most, it truly shows what good men they are and how much care they all have for each other. There is a connection between the men that shines through the author's writing.
I definitely recommend this read and be prepared to go along on a full roller-coaster ride with characters as their story unfolds.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.

A Scattered Thoughts and Rogue Words Review An Alisa Review:

Rating: 4 stars out of 5

This was my first story by this author and I was not disappointed. Caden is feeling lost after everything with his snowboarding career imploded and after his sister’s death he now feels like the whole world is on his shoulders. What he needs is some support but he gets so much more and finally his father mentally comes back.

Mace has never been with another man but can’t deny his feelings towards Rick and Caden and there is no way he will let Caden push them away. Rick has to reconcile how he has always felt about relationships but once he does that there is no holding him back.

Oh man, I felt for all of these characters. Caden doesn’t feel he’s good enough and while he doesn’t want to hurt anyone he is struggling to find the right solution to make everything right. Rick is ready to take them all home with him but it’s hard waiting for all the paperwork to be completed. Mace can be more level headed and though struggles at the beginning isn’t willing to let either man go. All of these men complement each other perfectly and there love is clear. I was glad the Caden’s dad finally came back to earth when his son needed him most though I feel he hurt Caden a lot when he checked out after his mom’s and then more after his sister’s death. I look forward to reading more stories from this author.

I love the cover art by Soxsational Cover Art, it’s such a great picture of Caden and Gracie.

This was a great addition to the whiteout series. I loved to see it was part of a series. While i am not overly into MMM this was done very tastefully and i was very happy with the outcome of this book. I cannot wait to read the next part.

I’ve read this author before. This is a mmm contemporary story set in New Zealand and Florida. From such a tragic start, love finds a way. Caden, Mase and Ricky are beautiful together. I’ll read more from this author.
