This is book 9 in the series. I love this series. I started reading it to my daughter, but now I read them on my own.

This is the story of Greg's mother getting an idea from her parenting magazines to go on a family road trip. Everything goes wrong of course. Though told from Greg's point of view, I can picture the stress of the parents. My favorite part was when the Dad gets an important business call. Everyone is supposed to be quiet. Everything unravels at that point. Been there, as a kid and an adult.

The family drama is Greg dealing with each family member, his dad, mother, older brother, baby brother, and now the family pig they accidentally won.
