This book started off very strong. A dark, edgy, kinky story about fetishes. Then it morphed into some romcom with the two leads head over heels and calling each other boyfriend/girlfriend constantly. I get that the author wanted to “justify” the characters and try to make them likable. In fact thought was doing a pretty good job until it jumped over to sappy romance. I agree with Junior, “Gag”. About 70% in, the book lost me but I skimmed through until the (happy) end. The flow was good and writing was clear. The spicy scenes were pretty good too. Give it a 3 for that. Really wished it kept up the beginning.
