This is a little bit more like Ana Huang’s work recently with the various tropes. Very interesting premise with the included mentions of characters from the previously established books. Could have done without the last twist, but perhaps it seemed a little quick for my tastes.

Kris and Nate rank high in my favorite couples of Ana Huang’s books and I love the mentions they get in future books.
