Best in the series so far

Well, it didn’t stray far from my expectations — just another romance book with a happy ending. That said, I really loved the part where the author highlighted the service line and the struggles waiters face while serving customers. The harsh reality was mind-blowing.

What Nate and Kris did for their relationship was also incredible! Especially the way they communicated. They openly discussed how they wanted to move forward and made clear agreements. To me, *this* is how relationships should work — being upfront and honest is the foundation of a healthy relationship.

i’m internally battling between 4 and 5 stars and i think i decided on rating it a 4.45 but rounded up is 5 stars, only bc considering how for 80% i was nonstop thinking about the book and could not put it down. nate and kris deserve the world and i was very hooked to their love story, i just felt that the ending was rushed like i wanted to see more of them. ugh something in me feels disappointed bc i feel like their story is unfinished.

Haha who would have thought it? You hire an actor to seduce ur future stepmother to stop the wedding, only to figure out that he is your soulmate instead. I really liked Nate & Kris’s relationship & how they were naturally drawn to each other from the start… plus I’m really happy that his dreams of becoming an actor came true at the end. However, their relationship was unrealistic at times… I don’t know, just think it was a bit rushed in the final 4 weeks or so of the summer!! however I’m glad they went for a long engagement, it proves how long distance can actually sometimes make a relationship stronger that ever!!
