I appreciate the walls that were slowly being torn down through self-reflection and trust. I also appreciate the little bit of spice in this book. The first had a lot, so I needed a bit of a break. This book was more about their relationships in all aspects of the lead characters’ lives, vs. just their sex life.

Honestly, this one was hard for to get into. It’s not that it was bad or anything, it was just hard to me care about the characters. I know we read to escape reality but it was hard for me to “escape” when a lot of the problems revolved around money in some way and at the time of reading, it just annoyed me.
