How many times have I read these stories, I have lost count over the years! The charm never leaves them ❤️

This is the first time (since childhood) that I’ve opened this book. And now I remember why I adore these stories so much. This whole book tells the story of creation, and shows us just a small taste of Aslan’s kindness. Absolutely beautiful writing as Lewis transports you to the world of Narnia!

So yeah, that was really good. With any luck the rest are just as good, and I will get round to reading those soon. The whole thing felt more like a set-up than anything else, and after all I've heard about C. S. Lewis on the internet I did snicker to myself [in a library with people close by, I might add] at the fairly blatant Aslan = God parallels, especially followed by the direct mentions of Adam and Eve.

I'mma do what I've decided is best for series, and review the whole of The Chronicles of Narnia as one entity once I've read them all.
