More like 2.5-2.75 ⭐️ at 75% of this book I was so invested and things were getting so good only for the ending to be rushed and a little confusing. I would’ve loved to see more of both the Malik and Ghost timelines, and I think had the book been longer it would’ve turned out better.

I liked this book. It kept me engaged trying to figure out. WTF was going on. It is absolutely uncomfortable and icky, it is also eerie, suspenseful and strange. I like weird, over the top, politically incorrect, and bizarre in the horror genre so this worked for me. I’m creeped out about so many things and that’s what I wanted. I hope Eric writes Piper’s story next.
