First of all, the amount of times in just the half I read where the words "Man meat" were used should honestly count as exposure therapy. Gross.
I liked the premise of the story. But this was the first time attempting this author and honestly the writing just didn't work for me. One, the phrasing of a lot of things I just found kind of gross (man meat for example). Also, I kind of hate the whole name thing. And the MMC. And kinda the FMC.
Honestly I've been thinking "I don't enjoy this" since chapter 2, so finally at chapter 18 I'm tapping out. Not for me.

I laughed so hard during this book. The banter between E and Will was so fun.

Willow and Presley are GOLD!
Their banter was on fire, I was intrigued through the whole story.
Willow was the type of heroine I can appreciate, with her sass and wit, and I loved the body positive message underlying.
I thought his relationship with his ex was a strange thing, to say the least, but it didn’t detract from the book for me.

This was absolutely amazing!! I loved every second of this book. Willow is my hero! She's so fierce and so genuine. The banter between Willow and Elvis was hilarious and the chemistry was insane. Fantastic story.

There are some fun and funny parts here and the romance is kind of cute but it was way too overhyped online with a line from the second last chapter. If something is to be hyped it needs to be earlier in the story and have longer term meaning.

While I liked the banter between Willow & Elvis, it didn't make up for the rest of the book. Things stretched into the unbelievable at times - who dates someone without knowing their name? Almost everything that happens in the last half of the book is one idiot thing after another - I understand that charcters & situations in romance novels are exaggerated reality, but this was beyond that.
