Still loving this series so much! More and more continues to get revealed. I’m so glad the love interest thing got sorted out pretty quickly. Loved this!

This has to be my least favorite of the series so far. It just felt like not much happened, and the little that did happen too forever to get too. I still plan on finishing the series, this book was just a bit of a disappointment.

Another winner in this series! So much happens in this one. So much relating to how this series will eventually play out and it’s a perfect set up for the final book.

This book had all the YA trope-y addictions that annoy me, but then fixed them in the same timeframe too, so I’m happy to say, none of it was dragged on for long. For example, her mother’s re-arrival. I get it - Mom thinks she’s still mom. But I'm sorry, you gave up your rights to parenting when you weren’t around for years. Thankfully, this doesn’t go on very long since Ember stands up to her. There’s hints at the end, about her disapproval, but then seems to back herself down for her daughter.

The point in this book that does take it a 5 to 4 star for me is the “love triangle.” Now, I hadn’t mentioned this in previous books, simply because I forgot, but the thoughts were there. Torin and Ember have a connection. He’s the nice, hot fae who visits her in dreams. Somehow, that makes him more trustworthy than Eli, even though he’s basically a stranger, and by book 2, she’s talking about feelings for this one. It’s stated they are engaged essentially, and this book deals with a lot of that. Eli and Torin’s jealousy of each other. Her mixed emotions. Once again, Ember doesn’t let this go on for long. It’s resolved by half the book in, but the fact that it happened at all just doesn’t make sense for me. I always got friend vibes between Ember and Torin, but she was throwing around some pretty big emotions at one point.

The ending is insane though! And despite all I just said, the romance heats up between Ember and Eli and they just make me so happy. I’ve said this before, but I’m kinda feeling them more than Brexley and Warwick, as strange as that is to say.

So many truths! So much deception! I can’t wait for the next one!

So I'm giving this three stars but I kind of feel like it's being a bit generous but there were some really great aspects so I'm really torn about this. Some things that annoyed me were of course Eli just all of Eli and everything to do with eli. Who Ember becomes when she is with Eli is a completely different person that I cannot stand. Another thing that annoyed me was how nobody saw the signs that Josh was going to betray them. Like are you for real? You're explaining all of his battle skills and everything because he spends so much time playing world of Warcraft!? Are you seriously that's stupid!? And finally this repetitive theme of I'm going to capture and hurt or kill the ones you love if you do not do what I say and then she does whatever evil thing they want like enough is enough it's been three books of that.
What saved the book for me is the fact that we got more of the pixies Simmons and Cal who I think are by far the best characters of the book. I also like that we got a lot more of Lars and he's my second favorite character of the book because he's not total dumbass and he even though he can be kind of a dick at least he's a very honest dick about who he is and his expectations. I totally thought that he was going to end up being her dad and I feel like that's where the author was leading us but it's a very interesting twist that he turned out to be her uncle. I still also maintain that Lily is not her mom there's just weird facts and hints that are being dropped I think with wording and phrasing in the book like for example at the end of chapter 22 when Ember was like I'm like my mom and Lily goes yes you are.. more than you know like that just seems so off to me something is not right there. And even in the last chapter where she's just adamantly saying that Ember is her daughter like I don't know that just seems off to me because she shouldn't have to constantly be claiming Ember to be her daughter you know? All that being said I will obviously be reading the last book cuz I'm sure there is a lot more to be revealed but I'm more so looking forward to getting into the collectors series which I know is part two of The saga.

Holy crap on a cracker!!!! Let me just tell you that right now, I am floating on cloud nine. Eli is the mega alpha. I adore him and all his snippy ways. He thrills me, makes my heart flutter and race, and melts everything away. This is so addicting. I can't focus on anything but this world and the characters. Ember is a fantastic heroine. Even if she acts a little to impulsive at times. I love her sass and attitude.

I really enjoyed this book and love how they all pick up immediately where the last book leaves off. Ember is becoming such a strong person and i feel for her with all she’s having to overcome and deal with. Eli is so lovely, big fan of his. I love that everyone is having so much growth in this book and I am here for it. Also hate the queen so much. Definitely recommend this series so much!

I have received an ARC copy of this book in exchange of an honest review.

I so did not expect THAT! After Ember and her loved ones, were imprisoned in the Otherworld, she was trying to come back. And once she did, I was not expecting that 3 long years have passed!

The chemistry between Ember and Eli takes another few levels up and it’s just so HOT! After she comes back to our world, she finds out that Eli has thought she was dead…but this is not only thing. He has changed. He is impatient, erratic. Not the same guy she remembers. In the meantime, her feeling for Torin are getting more complicated and she is forced to chose. Even if she doesn’t want to, not she is prepared to do that. After she thinks she can be happy, Lars is emerging and requesting from her to hold onto her end of the bargain. He doesn’t care who is going to get hurt in the process. The end result has to be the one he planned.

The relationship between Eli and Ember, takes you to a rollercoaster. One minute you are happy, next sad, angry, sexually frustrated. Torin and her bond with him. Lars. So many ties, that my heart could not take it, but I still continued to torment myself. But such emotional whirlwind I can have with every book I read!

This book is a bit slower than the previous one, but nonetheless so GOOD!

5 amazing STARS!

Good!!

This is a good fantasy series, full of action, great and mystery. One thing? The foreshadowing makes the finale rather apparent.... now on to book 4 to see if in right.

The secrets are getting a wee bit annoying now... i mean no one says nothing!!!!

Im all for revalations... But there seems to be no reason for these characters to be so secretive, they just come across as a little immature.

At first i loved the way the Author wrote Eli... but this paddy footing around has put me off a bit... and after a supposed mother fakes her own death, never reveals Ems true heritage... well no matter how defeated she looked if it was me i would demand answers like who my father was not just leave the subject for a huge revelation... Again....

And Kennedey gets kidnapped... Again... How Lorcan just pops up everywhere is beyond me....

the immaturity of the characters in this book really hindered the storyline for me..... that not to say i dont love the authors writing but this book has a very young adult mentality with a bit of smut thrown in.....
