Loved reading this book, it was such a great end to the series, I loved the story and how it wrapped things up, but I'm so excited for the spin off series!

Liked this way more than I thought I would

BEST. BOOK. EVER. I honestly can't describe what a wild ride the Alpha Girl series was!!! Plus, I'm honestly a bit heart-broken that it has come to an end

I don’t usually write reviews for Aileen Erin’s novels, but this one deserved it so much. Tessa’s character development over all of the books really comes full circle in this book. I loved having Dastien’s POV, and I loved seeing his struggles without his mate. Beautiful.

This book made me cry, and this is a feat, as I usually never cry in books. Aileen really outdid herself with this one. The ending was a perfect way to end the series, in my opinion. Chef’s kiss.

5/5 stars but I wish I could give it more.

Alpha Erased was a brutal journey that kept me crying throughout the entire book. Definitely one of the most heart-wrenching stories I’ve read that I only took a break long enough to take one of my final exams before diving right back in. I just had to know that everything would be ok. I was very tempted to skip to the end to make sure because I was very worried there for a bit- my sore and swollen eyes are proof of just how worried I was. While Alpha Erased did a number on my soul, I’m so happy that everything worked out. It felt like a good place to end the series for now and I’m so excited to find out that Samantha is getting her own series! I was ready to beg Aileen for her story. I can’t wait to get to know her better and to hopefully see some more of Tessa and Dastian in her series.

I don't know what it was about this one. Maybe I'm just over Dastien and Tessa. But I didn't enjoy this one. I loved the first 4 and I did struggle after that.

I read this book has an ARC provided by Netgalley for an honest review.
I originally read the first two books in this series and since this is one of those series that continues with various relationships and character stories for each book onward, I decided to stop my reading of this series. I just genuinely wasn’t interested in the other character’s storylines.
When I heard the ninth installment in this series would be about Tessa and Dastien again with Tessa losing her memory, I knew I had to jump back in.

As someone who stopped reading after the second book, you can pick this one up as well. You’ll know who some of the characters are but the ones you don’t know, you’ll figure out through context clues (or it just doesn’t matter). The supernatural world and the politics around it are recapped a bit by Aileen to help you catch up as well.

Most of this book is told through Dastien’s POV so you get to really get into his head with this one which you’ve never really been able to do before. We get to see Tessa and experience this insane situation from his perspective. So if you’re a Dastien fan, you’ll definitely want to read this one!

There were some moments and situations that felt very dragged out in this book and others that were very interesting ideas but were too quickly executed.

I’ll tell you what though, this book is definitely full of drama!! Which is my favourite element of any novel!

Overall, it was a standard paranormal romance novel. I thought this would be perfect for fans who have been religiously following the series and love these characters. Definitely one for that crowd!

But unfortunately, this one wasn’t for me. I found it a bit frustrating to read but the version of my reader self who lived for standard paranormal a few years back would have definitely loved this.

5 stars. Allllll the stars.

This book is everything I love about this series wrapped in sheer pain and heartbreak.

Normally, I'd be over a series by book 9, but not this series. I love Tessa and Dastien. I love all of the side characters. I love the world and the magic system. Erin is such a good writer.

It wasn't too shocking being in Dastien's POV for the majority of the book. We've spent so long with the guy that I felt I already knew his character well, but finding out confident, collected Dastien didn't think he deserved Tessa? THAT HURT MY HEART. I just wanted to wrap him up in the biggest cuddle throughout this entire book. Every single thing he did to try and get Tessa back made me love him even more, and I loved the deeper look we got at the relationships he has with others - especially Michael, Chris and Cosette. How fatherly Michael is to Dastien is beautiful. Who wouldn't want a hot DILF with enough money to open up any shop he wanted in the wee hours of the morning in Los Angeles?

But what Erin needs to do is give these two a damned break. We're nine books in and every single time they are put through the wringer. In saying that, though, I don't want their stories to end, and I like that Erin left the end open for another book to come sometime down the line.

Do you know who needs their own books? Van and Samantha.

I've seen Erin say somewhere before that Samantha was meant to have her own book long before now so fingers crossed that comes soon.

One question I have - what the hell happened to the apartment Michael bought for Dastien in LA? They fitted it out with completely new furniture - literally everything you'd ever need - and Dastien only lived in a for a day. He spent one night there, and they just abandoned it? Or does it just become like a pack stop-in apartment for anyone spending time in LA?

Also - Tessa learned French! FINALLY. I loved that. I loved the moment Dastien realised she'd learned French for him. I also loved the little bit about her suddenly getting the urge to climb a mountain. It wouldn't happen to have been at the same time Dastien climbed his mountain, would it? Little details like that make me fall harder for a book.

I'm so sad I'm yet again at the end of this amazing series. I hope there's more to come in the future.
