This was a quick, entertaining read with an end that I absolutely hated… I get the concept, and it was different than a lot that’s out there.

Ashley Flowers does it again!!! The twist at the end was more than just a twist. This book kept me intrigued and was never dull. I felt like I was solving it with Nic.

I didn’t realize that this book was written by the creator of the crime junkie podcast until I finished it! The plot did keep my attention. The book was composed of short chapters which I generally prefer. However, it took on average 3 to 5 chapters to get through a day in this story! I did find the main character Nic rather insufferable. But then I wonder if I was that insufferable when I myself was 23.

The ending/plot twist is really what ruined it for me. Did not feel realistic and that’s what makes or breaks a good psychological thriller.
