More sex than I would have liked. But I love how the couple came together and built a life together. They learned things form eachother and had to adapt to eachother in the most beautiful way.
This is definitely the most unique romance novel i have read in a minute. Both of them being musicians was such a unique touch, and the references to music were beautiful yet not corny. I loved the writing style and there were so many cute moments throughout the book. I surprisingly didn't hate the third act breakup as much as I thought I would, but it was unnecessary still to some extent.

I enjoyed the ride of the story, it was good but not perfect in my opinion.
reylo fanfiction always squeezes its way into my heart. the world was so masterfully constructed and the dynamics between all the characters were so fascinating and interesting and full of depth.

Picked this up due to the recommendation from Ali Hazelwood as I mostly enjoy her books. I do have a soft spot for Reylo-inspired stuff, too.
I enjoyed the musical plot more than the romance itself. I wasn’t especially attached to the characters and would have liked to see more from the supporting cast, particularly Mabel as more could have been done with her. The male characters all seemed a little 2D, especially the agent who was a bit of a comic book villain.
The resolution seemed a little quick and wasn’t overly satisfying. That said, I finished it in two days and it was enjoyable enough. I just don’t think I’ll be re-reading it.

I don’t know a lot about orchestras, but some of the plot points felt kind of sus? I also feel a little like I just finished an Ali Hazelwood novel, which is fine but not really what I wanted. There could have been more depth and a lot of the b-plot conflict was tied up a bit too quickly, but overall, this was a good time.
