Muchas de las cosas en este libro pueden ser muy útiles. En general pienso que es un buen libro y sus principios son aplicables, yo he aprendido de ellos. Lo único que no me gusta, es que se extiende demasiado en cosas que bien pudo explicar en lo que abarca la mitad del libro, porque de allí en adelante parece reciclar conceptos presentándolos como si fueran un consejo nuevo, solo por esa razón encontré la lectura redundante.

I do appreciate the book as it is the founding pillars of the genre, self-help. All the media that I've encountered had referenced this book. In terms of its impact towards myself, I have personally found it not that helpful as if you're already a people pleaser, you do not need to read this book. I do find the value in it in terms of sales talk, thus if you want a refresh then it's an okay read. It is very repetitive in nature though, do note that.

I'm afraid I started skimming by halfway through, then just stopped outright. The core ideas presented are sound, but the presentation is deeply flawed. Bland anecdote after bland anecdote, none adding deeper value to the point.

I️ thought this book had a lot of good advice, but I️ felt like I had heard most of it before. I️ recognize that this book is mostly where this type of advice originated, but after growing up hearing most of these lessons and tips from my Dad, the book wasn’t as interesting to me. I️ did love the old language and references to the historical context for the time period it was written— As well as the fact that although this book and the studies within it are old, they are still incredibly relevant about how to interact with people.
