I read this story in middle school and really liked it, it was nice to revisit.

However, my version had the author talking about how he came up with the story at the end. It sounded grandiose to say the least, I couldn't stand it past 8 ish minutes. Maybe it would get better but it didn't feel worth it to find out. Other than that, great!

Good plot twists here. I see why it has its reputation. Didn’t like the style—too blunt and distant. Characters weren’t much either. Fun ideas book with some enjoyable surprises.

Probably one of the best books I’ve read to date

Of course this book. What an incredible book! This books lives up to all the fantastic reviews it's earned. The books front concerns isolating the main character from all the he loves or who love him. But in return the readers become so attached to Ender's journey and to his struggle that you end up just loving the book in return.

An entertaining read & good story that made me want to keep reading. I didn't find myself needing to take breaks because my mind was getting tired like I often find happens with some sci-fi books. It definitely brought up some interesting themes throughout and great characters. Very imaginative and I love all the imagery; I can picture the Battle Room. Thoroughly enjoyed it & look forward to reading the rest of the series.
