This was a very interesting and pretty unique read for me. I originally bought it based entirely on the cover without even reading the synopsis, but once I read the synopsis I was really looking forward to reading it.

It started a little slow and I don't know exactly what I expected, but it was different than I thought it would be.
I struggle sometimes with magical realism but I feel like it was done really well in this book.

I loved the ending, I thought it was really sweet and wrapped everything up very well.
