Cute (yet deep and emotional) read, made me tear up but also made me want to scream because people just need to communicate sometimes. But also very relatable and lovable couple. First Abby Jimenez book, will be reading more

i’m still lost for words, i cannot express how much i loved this book or explain how it felt to me, a person with social anxiety. having social anxiety is living your life with fear, fear of what others might think and much more than that. once we are in social situations, this fear consumes us in a way that is beyond our control and it’s so hard for us to live a normal day, without overthinking or feel anxious. so i felt really connected to Jacob, it felt like i was looking myself in the mirror, he was me and i was him. 

their relationship was so strong and i felt so envious for the lack of possibilities in my life to be loved like that. this book just showed me that it’s not okay to settle for less, there are boys who are willing to sacrifice themselves just to be able to show how much they love their partners. so i hope i found someone like this. someone like Jacob, who went above and beyond just to make Briana happy, even if she didn’t wanted him. 

i do admit that the last chapters disappointed me a little bit & i understand that she had a hard time to trust someone once again but she already knew this and if he didn’t let her read his journal, she would allow her insecurities to eat her up and lose such a fine man. something that she judged amy for. but i couldn’t rate this below 5 stars, because their love wasn’t perfect, both of them had many flaws but it all worked out in the end. p.s. i also laughed a lot with this book.

My first book by this author and I can’t wait to get my hands on more! So funny and such a great story. While the main female character got on my Nevers towards the end I still adored this book and these people! I think I highlighted most of the book for funny quotes
