It wasn’t my favorite Tessa book, miscommunication trope is a no for me especially if it’s from a character that is barely a character???

Less bad than the other two in the series. Not that that's saying much. I've probably been a bit generous with the stars - rounded up from 2.5 rather than down - because based on other books from this author I wasn't expecting the characters to address the fact that the male lead's behaviour was really problematic, and then they actually did.

While the first two books of this series had an actual plot this book was just a package of trauma working against each other.

There was zero growth until the last chapter and this made the 'better parts' of the story harder to enjoy.
