I love this women, and while I liked her book I didn’t love it. Her first book just spoke to me more than this one. It was a lot of random advice and I was expecting more of a story.

More stories mixed with advice splashed with a few interviews.
Following the format and success of her first book, Mastromonaco doesn’t deviate. However, I still read this in under 12 hours (granted, it is short) and found it a good travel read.

I really enjoy Alyssa's humor and essays. She has led such an interesting life and they way she wrote about our shared issue of IBD had me crying I was laughing so hard. I was thoroughly entertained reading this second work by her and would recommend it for a fun nonfiction essay collection.
