Audiobook - delicious mate love story with forced proximity, psychological manipulation, and second chances.
Mates find each other, though he tries to keep her at a distance until he can try to sever the death sentence their mating bond created. Multiple attempts on her life results in the king turning from her and her deception, learning she’s her own night/day fae and finally coming back together in their loving bond.
Well written and hooks from the very start.

3.75 stars. I love the concept and the force proximity, but I would love it if there were more character connections and world-building because so far I am a little bit confused about the world they are in.

The connection between Caidan and Bryn is of mates, but I want to see the bond more (even though it is Caidan's fault that he has been ignoring Bryn). But still a great book nonetheless.
