  | I was really worried for these two, they just didn’t seem to be able to get on the same page! The time they took apart though, that was needed, so they could figure things out in their own head, in their own hearts, before coming together <3

Tangled Passions, the fourth book of Melissa Schroeder’s Task Force Hawaii series, is a humorous, sexy and emotional read that has you guessing until the end.

Cat and Drew’s story was highly anticipated for me. These two have been playing at a game of sexual tension for many books now. Cat is a strong woman with an even bigger personality. Drew is one of those rare, hard to find, good men. The chemistry these two create is more than intense. Denying their feelings has only made it worse. Seeing them finally give in to the attraction and feelings, wanting something more than a night or two, was magical. Cat and Drew are intense, in every way. Their personalities are big, they're passionate scorching. They truly to make the perfect couple.

Melissa Schroeder takes the reader to paradise once again while keeping them guessing with the turn of every page. Perfectly blending romance and suspense, in a setting that is absolute breathtaking, while keeping the reader on their toes with the plot that's turning. Tangled Passions is well worth spending a few hours in Hawaii. Suspense done right and steamy hot passion, 5 Stars!!!!

Tangled Passions is Drew and Cat’s story. This book can be read standalone but is better if you’ve read the earlier books. Cat is a kick ass cop but not so good with the touchy feely stuff. Drew comes from a big family. He is okay with the touchy feely stuff but can’t get past the hurt of Cat deserting him after a night of passion that had him on cloud nine until he got shot by a maniac who was after another team member. He doesn’t understand why Cat refused to see him in the hospital or see him during his recovery. Well he is back to work and she isn’t going to be able to avoid him forever.
Drew and Cat complete each other. They are each good at the parts where the other falls short. I loved watching them find their way to each other again. While this isn’t my favorite of the series it is still a fun read.

This was an enjoyable story, that really drew me in and kept me engaged throughout. I also had literally no idea who the killer was until they were revealed and the last couple of chapters had me gripped.

As for Cat and Drew I was so happy to see them finally get there story and it was worth the wait. Although it was not all smooth going, and at times I felt like banging their heads together. But once they got things figured out they certainly shared some hot moments and had a lot of sparks.

As with the previous books the descriptions of Hawaii in this story made me feel like I was right there and that is one of the things I do love about this series. The other being the group of characters that form TFH and I'm definitely looking forward to reading more from this series in the future. I would also recommend this story and series to others.
