I enjoyed this fantasy story. This is a new author for me which I look forward to reading more from them in the future. This is a well written story about a Gabby and her bored life while other things are going on in The Realm such as a winner for her soul. This is a fast paced, engaging story that kept me turning pages to the end. I enjoyed being pulled into the story from the beginning by the characters. They are connectable and brought the story to life. The growth of the characters and the plot are great throughout the story. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens with this board mother and her soul.
