First thoughts: I read this all in two sittings. The storytelling kept me engrossed despite the plot being slice-of-life. I think there were a lot of really interesting and nuanced thoughts woven throughout this story; the comparison of WWE and OF is so intriguing, and it’s correct. This idea of playing a character, whether for monetary value or because it’s something we naturally gravitate towards, is real and important. I highlighted several passages where Margo ruminates on how, in different lighting, the exact same facts can be turned into different narratives, and I think that’s SO applicable right now. I went in blind re: what this book was about and really enjoyed it.
