So, this series has some issues, mainly of the sexism/gay panic/stereotyping variety. The plot is so good that I've tolerated it, but it's starting to become a bit much to ignore. Hoping the next volume improves on this.

This volume is stressful because it just shows you all of the horrible, horrible ways that humans could spin this situation into causing more death and destruction. Just lies and manipulation and political intrigue all around.

It was worth it to wait for that ending though! I knew it had to be coming.
