Cried 3 times in the first 96 pages.

Still processing that ending, I am in shock.

The Long Way Home was a stronger story then book 1. I do find myself getting a little annoyed by the writing style and choice of phrases “he let out a breath I didn’t realise he was holding” girl, be for real. There’s also a lot of repetition about the boys running their hands through their hair, licking their bottom lip, pushing their tongue into their side of their mouth that it had me rolling their eyes.

I think Magnolias “thing” of needing to list of the clothing brand and style is meant to make her quirky but it comes across as shallow and vain. I think, similar to the phrases above, it’s just over done.

I loved the development of Taura, she’s the MVP along with Bridget if you ask me.

Despite the flaws there is something about this series that I cannot get enough of.

This one did really drag on.

I definitely prefer Daisy's books and those POVs, so it does suck a bit that they go over the same timelines, because there are some sneaky spoilers in this book to what ends up happening. I really wonder if you switched the reading order to daisy before magnolia what would be lost or gained, as obviously the books were written and/or published in a certain order, but just interesting. Daisy and Magnolia obviously are NOT besties and so for them to exist in the same series "equally" with their loosely intertwined stories is very interesting. Excited to hop back into Daisy's POV soon :)

Ummm, wow. I don’t know what to think. That ending destroyed me in the worst possible way.
Did this book drive me insane? Yes. Did I both love and hate the main characters? Yes. Their messy love story drove me crazy. This is not a sweet story. This is a messy story about 2 people who are fated to be together but go about it in the most difficult way.
People who aren’t a fan of other men/women stay away. Magnolia and BJ spend most of this book with other people. It’s so messy but I still highly enjoyed it.
That ending. I am a crying mess. I don’t know what to do now. :(
