It is crazy how much happens in this volume! It's also interesting to see the same typical high school drama play out in a school full of assassins. And yet again a volume full of some kick ass art.

"Pain...it made me weak in a world where you can't be. A human among monsters. Humans can't live among monsters. The monsters eat them. Always. So be a monster."
This volume started off with Issue #12 and it's probably the only issue that I liked here. In the previous volumes, I actually loved how messy it all came to be but at this rate, I realized that THIS REALLY IS THE PLOT. Because in all honesty, I've been searching for it these past volumes thinking that all these other messes are just side story arcs. And I just really really really dislike Marcus now and how he became so dysfunctional. This is just a fcktastic mess and I don't think I'll continue reading anymore. :(

With that said I'm still excited when the live action series will air this month! I actually loved the first volume and am verrryyy excited on how they'll produce it. PLUS THE RUSSO BROTHERS WILL DIRECT IT SO IT WILL BE OSUM!

Maria really deserved better, now I'm certain about my feelings about Saya; I hate her.
Also I can't believe she's dating Willie... where did that come from?
I like Petra, she's nice in the TV show too.
I hope we'll have more on Shabnam in the next issues, and that the rats survive.

This is, and I'm not putting it lightly, glorious. Seriously it is amazing. Vol 3 centers around betrayal, loneliness, unrequited crushes and solitude while the stakes are getting higher and higher. I'm certain this series has me on a chokehold and I need Vol 4, like yesterday.
