I want Horowitz the character to be smarter haha I rolled my eyes sometimes. I’m desperate to know Hawthorne more. I want him to be the main character of the final book. A little too similar to the first one.
Did not enjoy the way Horowitz describes female characters and found the protagonist to be arrogant to the point of getting on my nerves. I'm sure this is intended as the protag misses several key points of the mystery because of his biases but it also has the side effect of making me not want to read further.
