Just a bit too much angst for me... I am not a fan of love triangles and although this story kept me engaged, it was just too heartbreaking and unnecessary for me. It was well written and if you like this trope, you will enjoy it.

meh.
don't get me wrong, i was pretty pleased with danni's "selection," if you will.
but this book was a lil messy and a LOT lazy.
i was really excited about this series because i feel like good love triangles are hard to come by, and i really felt like this series had a lot of promise. but i think it steadily went downhill from there.
the problem is that someone gets screwed no matter what. and i think godwin was attempting to soften the blow with her plot in this book but in doing so she kind of screwed with the feels. you end up feeling bad for BOTH of the guys. and wondering why anyone would put up with danni, frankly.
and i also think the cliffhanger in last book was VERY poorly handled. or just a poor idea in general. i'm cool with mild consent issues in books, but there's some shit i just can't overlook.
tldr: this book messy... characters, plots, consent, you name it

Amazing series
I really loved this series. I had no idea which way it was headed. It was an amazingly well-written love triangle!

Oh my god!
I loved it! I can't say that enough! My heart broke and I honestly was a little upset with you until I remembered what I already knew, trust your heart, that's all that matters. The rest is just noise.

This series was painfully drawn out and Danni was one of the most insufferable FMC I’ve ever encountered. I love love triangles but this one was not it for me.
