This included 4 parts and each had 2 stories of Batman's first encounters with Ra's Al-ghul . Funnily i had seen the first 2 and the penultimate story detailed in this book in Batman the animated series , which was a pleasant surprise to learn , since i never knew that Batman TAS drew episodes with direct inspiration from comics .
That said , the action was copious and entertaining , the story telling was fast paced and often displayed Batman's intellectual strength which always feels more cool to see than him punching 10 thugs with ease .
That said , a few chapters in the middle felt like they were dragged and slow and there were quite a few plot convenience
