Loved this! Agatha Christie really said LETS THROW THE KITCHEN SINK IN! Her best of the Poirot books so far!

Not a huge favorite of mine among Christie stories--mainly because Poirot gets snowed for a really long time. I recently saw the David Suchet television version of this one, and it is very faithful to the novel.

Reread June 2024; I have to say I stand by my original review.

Agatha Christie is an absolute genius! I did not see this coming and I loved it! The entire time I was reading this book I just could not figure out who the killer was.

While on vacation Poirot stumbles across Nick Buckley who divulges that she has recently survived three attempts on her life and Poirot witnesses a fourth one and is determined to stop whoever is trying to harm her. Along with his good friend Hastings they work together to protect the young girl, solve the mystery and to prove why Hercule Poirot is the world's greatest detective.

This book had a really great cast of characters who are very well developed so you don't just focus on the main few. Which in the long run just made it more difficult to suss out who the bad guy was.

For anyone who's a fan of Agatha Christie or whodunits or just likes a good murder mystery, I would a 1000%  recommend reading this book!
