You can leave it to Poirot to sprinkle his grand reveal with cutting reads. You never get sick of it and the library is truly open

"In the midst of life, we are in death"
I accidentally spoiled myself for the ending, regardless i fad fun reading this. Figuring out how it all makes sense. Agatha Christie is amazing as always.

In this crime mystery, published in 1932, Poirot appears to struggle resolving the "murder" before it actually happens.
Whilst reading Peril at End House, I kept telling myself that the story was familiar, yet I didn't recall reading it, let alone watching its TV adaptation!
Christie does in this book what she does best: she introduces a number of characters who all seem as suspicious as each other (some have a stronger motive than the others), a lot of red herrings, a Hercule Poirot nearly doubting himself (surely not!), a great plot (and subplots) and a twist at the end I never saw coming!
Suffice it to say, Agatha Christie had a very vivid and twisted imagination!
Though not my favourite Agatha Christie's, I very much enjoyed this novel and I'm looking forward to watching its TV adaptation.
