This book was hyped up with so many positive reviews, I was positive I was going to like it. When I started it I was enjoying it, but after a while it just got to the point where I didn't care if I finished it it not, but I pushed myself to. I really didn't understand this books point.

Holy hell.

I finished this on Sunday, thus I am telling myself I made reading it during Banned Book Week.

What an incredible book. Mind you, I'm not sure it's appropriate for the lower half of the YA age spectrum, but this is really an extremely good read. Very moving, and I love the style it's written in. Days instead of chapters.

SO recommendable. Wow.

I liked the story ok, but too much harsh language for my liking. I found the characters annoying at times.

To me, it wasn't anything too special. It was pretty sad but not as heartbreaking as TFIOS. I did tear up a few times. Nothing majorly interesting. From the summary, you think that Alaska and Miles would date or be together, or spend a lot of time forever. But that wasn't the case. They were just friends even though Miles had a crush on her. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be.

I laughed and I cried. Wow....I wasn't expecting such an amazing book. And I've just decided I really am a John Green fan.
