This was really cute. It took me some time to get into it but once I did, it was definitely worth reading.

Maybe it's the narrator, but this is boring and I just don't care.

I will continue to say that novellas (I'm not sure if this was actually a novella, but I feel like it was) aren't for me, because there is just not enough time for the story to develop and for me to believe that the MCs fell in love so fast. So with all that said Peaches and Honey was just an okay read for me. I was looking for a quick, cutesy read to get me through a shift at my second job. I wasn't sure what to expect going in, but I definitely got what I wanted. This book was cute, super sweet and a quick listen. But it lacked the details I wanted, and I just couldn't believe that these two fell in love so fast without know basic information about each other. This book only checks off the sweet on my romance books checklist. I didn't find it to be swoony and it wasn't steamy at all. I really enjoyed both of our heros, and the town sounded adorable. Definitely got those small town vibes.

This is is a delectable exploration of love, loss, and self-discovery. Set against the backdrop of a Southern summer, the novel delicately intertwines the lives of its characters, weaving a narrative rich with emotion and nostalgia. Markwell-Tweed's prose is lyrical, painting vivid portraits of the Georgia landscape and the complexities of human connection. The story unfolds with a perfect balance of sweetness and poignancy, leaving readers savoring the nuances of life's bittersweet moments. This evocative tale captures the essence of Southern charm and the enduring power of love, making it a compelling read.

This was cute and sweet, but it was so rushed. It was like slow burn for most of the book and then flip the switch and they’re all the sudden in love. The characters felt really stereotypical and it was really obvious the characters were written by a woman.
