This book wasn’t what I expected, I thought the story would go on for much longer, but it really didn’t. It was like the first 60 pages of this nearly 300 page book, but the rest was filled with short stories that while entertaining weren’t really necessary, they covered what the world would look like without hunters without magic, and where popular characters would be if they were hunters or related to the hunters association in anyway. I’m glad it tied up many loose ends. I’m glad to answer too many questions, but I’m not totally satisfied with the direction it went especially with Jinwoos son. I’m glad he was friends with the same people. I’m glad he found his wife, but I’m sad that the story ended so abruptly compared to way to the book. Otherwise we’re super interested to see what Jinwoo would do if he wasn’t a Hunter. As well as how the world would’ve played out I dislike what’s happening to his son in terms of power and ability, but I’ll have to continue to read the Ragnarok series or start rather.
LOVED this series. ^_^
The extras and epilogue were fantastic editions to the main story. Getting to see the shadow army's personality was wonderful, and seeing how most of the characters lives turned out as well as the potential for the future was nice as well.

I wish the ending of the main arc/story and the extra stories after the fact were separated into different books. The main story ending was a solid 4⭐️.
The extra stories started off boring and I skimmed them but I think I'd go back and read them once I have space from the ending.
Overall I loved this series and can’t wait to watch more of the anime.

Ending felt rushed and was relatively disappointing to me, not as high stakes as expected. BUT the bonus stories following on from that helped me accept the ending choice a little more, and I enjoyed reading from others' perspectives. Not as good as the previos volumes, but worth reading nonetheless.

Most of this volume is just epilogue and bonus stories, which is a weird way to have split the volumes, but I guess necessitated by book length... I don't mind, though. I like the bonus stories; they make the reset timeline (which still bugs me on some level) feel somewhat worth it.
You know what would make it feel fully worth it? Min Byunggu appearing in the bonus stories. Seriously, the whole point of turning back the clock again was to avoid the sacrifices and deaths. I should get to see him living his best life! Being a history teacher like he wanted! Where is he?!
Jinchul's story is my favourite, I think. I'm always a sucker for the trope of characters vaguely remembering things from alternate timelines and searching for what's missing in their lives.

Was kind of an odd format choice for the ending. The main story was wrapped up in chapter 5 and then we moved to short stories but that was a continuation of the story but from different points of view some of them silly before we went to the epilogue which was then the final short story. Idk but I got a satisfying conclusion and my fixation had moved to something else with a hole being formed from lack of something to read.
